The DK-SF08G (DKSF08G) is a Sensor FOX GPS location information system manufactured by Alinco. It is a compact GPS tracker that communicates via Sigfox. It transmits location data obtained from GPS satellite signals to smartphones or tablets anywhere within the Sigfox area using Sigfox communication. *Sigfox is one of the LPWA (Low Power Wide Area-network) technologies, which refers to a global IoT network with a population coverage rate of 98% in Japan. It is characterized by low cost, low power consumption, and long-distance transmission. In Japan, Kyocera Communication Systems Co., Ltd. operates services using a frequency band that has been institutionalized as an active tag in the 920MHz band. It is deployed in over 70 countries worldwide (as of January 2023), using the 868MHz band in Europe, the 902MHz band in the United States, and the 920MHz band in the Asia-Pacific region. *It can also be integrated with a separate web browser application from Alinco under a different contract.
